Michelle Awondo currently serves as the Assistant Director of International Admissions at The University of Alabama. In her role she assists international students and families as they learn more about UA and guides them through the admissions process from start to finish. She also works closely with recruitment agencies from around the world as they work with students. Michelle earned a BA from University of Nevada, Reno in International Affairs and MA degree in Higher Education Administration from UA. With more than 7 years of higher education admissions experience, Michelle is passionate about helping students reach their personal and professional goals in a higher education setting. When not working, Michelle enjoys cooking, traveling, playing board games, being outdoors and spending time with her family.
